Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art that uses leverage and technique, rather than strength and striking, to control and neutralize assailants. With an emphasis on leverage, grip, position, and the mechanics of the body, practitioners of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can defend themselves against larger, stronger assailants. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is widely regarded as one of the most effective martial arts for self-defense, anti-bullying, and law enforcement, but it is so much more than just a martial art. It improves physical fitness, increases confidence, teaches problem-solving, discipline and resilience, and is a great way to have fun and make friends.
Whether you want to become a world champion, get in shape, learn self-defense, or just take on a new fun hobby, Zangief Jiu Jitsu offers rigorous, top notch training through a variety of classes (gi and no gi, striking, self-defense) for men, women, and children. Come join our family!
